All ACT3 and MNHTE2018 participants are invited to join us for a short tour to the Museum of the Institute of History and Philology in Academia Sinica. Unlike other museums, here more than hundred thousand items and archives spanning from the Shang and Zhou dynasties (1600 b.c.) to early 20th century were from the field studies in mainland China and Taiwan since 1928 and meant for academic research. A guided tour will use such ancestors’ legacy as vehicle, bringing you into the core of Chinese and Taiwanese cultures.

1. Special Exhibition for the 80th Anniversary of the Anyang Excavation Project, which covers the ruins of Shang dynasty royal cemetery in China (1400-1100 b.c.).

   

2. Exhibition Archeological Taiwan that evidences the human activity in Taiwan since 30,000 years ago.
