Introduction

今年(2018)是中央研究院90周年慶，院方舉辦許多慶祝活動，其中科學及人文前瞻論壇是由院內多個研究所針對不同主題邀請國內外傑出年輕學者舉辦的一系列論壇活動，希望能放眼本院未來10年的學術發展，為本院人文與科學典範的傳承，標誌出承先啟後的格局與意義。鑒於量子科學與技術領域近年來的蓬勃發展，原分所很榮幸邀請到在量子氣體研究卓越的金政教授，以及在量子資訊與量子計算研究卓越的謝明修教授，除講述他們個人的精彩研究外，也藉由他們在相關領域所具備的宏觀學術視野，展望該領域在未來十年的發展。在他們的演講後，我們將舉辦一場座談會，歡迎對這些主題有興趣的學者及學生參與，分享與交流對這個領域各種不同面向的看法與展望。

The conference will be held during November 23, 2018 at the Dr. Poe Lecture Hall, Institute of Atomic and Molecular Sciences (IAMS), Academia Sinica, on the main campus of National Taiwan University (NTU) in Taipei, Taiwan.
